Katwijk - Zandvoort

This route is ideal for hikers who want to walk or bike different routes. You walk along the beach or through the dunes, from day two you can even opt for cycling. The distance from Katwijk aan zee to Noordwijk aan Zee is about 5.2 km, and from Noordwijk aan Zee to Zandvoort is about 18 km. Along the way you can enjoy the dunes, and you might even come across some wildlife, there are foxes and deer walking. So if you are a lover of the beach, nature, and like to walk outdoors, this hike is an excellent choice. Don't forget to put on your hiking boots.

Katwijk- Noordwijk

A lovely coastal walk between the towns of Katwijk aan Zee and Noordwijk aan Zee. You can choose to walk along the beach or the first half of the walk through the Coepel - dunes, the impressive dune area between the two places. Enjoy the silence and the beautiful view of the sea during this relaxing walk!
Noordwijk - Zandvoort

Would you rather not walk on the beach both days? you can, rent a bike from us, this is a combination of the first day on the beach and the second day through the dunes and surrounding villages.
Start at the last beach exit of Boulevard Paulus Loot in Noordwijk aan Zee (lighthouse). Enter the south beach and set course towards Zandvoort. As you leave Noordwijk behind, the beach becomes increasingly quiet. Enjoy the sound of the sea, the crunch of shells under your shoes and the wind along your face. After fourteen kilometers you reach the row of sturdy wooden poles on the beach, the beginning of beach reserve Noordvoort. Leave the beach at beach post 70 and climb up the dune to the zeereep path. This path was constructed to give birds and seals rest. Walk the zeereep (normally not allowed, but here it is!) and enjoy the panoramic view of the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes on one side and the beach and sea on the other. At beach post 73 you can leave the path and continue walking towards Zandvoort (approx. 18 km in total).
